Introduction
We are pleased to announce the release notes for the Infobright IEE-MySQL 4.9.0.
Summary
This release includes critical updates and enhancements designed to improve performance, licensing, installation, and more.
Features
- Every instance of the Infobright server now requires a valid license file (infobright.lic) which can be obtained from Infobright Support.
- Configuration changes to the Infobright parameters, which now need to be specified in the new infobright.cnf file.
- Logging enhancements, including the ability to dynamically change logging levels and control Function Execution Time (FET) logging.
- Support for replication for Infobright tables loaded using the Infobright loader.
- Component renaming from 'brighthouse' to 'infobright' for backwards compatibility.
Bugfixes
- Resolved MAX() function returning incorrect results under certain scenarios.
- TRUNC() function issues corrected to behave properly in calculations with large decimals.
- Integrated a new option '/noadmin=yes' for silent installations in Windows, enabling installations without admin privileges.
